And last night we finished the race in cazzeggiano although I must say that taking it easy, chatting back of the pack and shoot shit is not that hard ..... Anyway
yesterday with the usual Paul G. family and we went to "compete" (it was not competitive) in the beautiful climb that leads to Sassi Superga ... I skip the trouble to register and write numbers for all the comments at the end.
After a short warm-up we started. Warm but not hot enough day. Party
comfortable with her friend Constance with the idea of giving her a hand I had to give up after a kilometer and a little bit ... too much with his leg up and I would make it hard just looking at it I started to walk ... chat with athletes coming back so to the Basilica. The race winds over a distance of 4.7 km all on asphalt with some really challenging pieces and others that paved the way to breathe a little.
Good friend Paul who I came 26th overall in 28minuti. After
race pasta and dentera to return to Sassi.
After last night is gone half the idea of making half of Turin, the Tuttadritta or any other race Chiabrera . Starting
arrival:
- leaving at 20. We go at 19:20 for 15 minutes after trying to pick up the chest instead required (to save time) the day before via email. Unfortunately, their mail was not working and so, along with other queued 200persone we registered in a closet.
- "unfortunately the chest to deliver the bags the vans are gone, aggiustatevi"
- 19:25 hours we still sign up and tell us that the vans will leave at 19.25 for the bags. ???????????? So we and 300 other people we should go with a shoulder bag?
-I am going to pay the € 5 entry !!!!! Magically the registration fee becomes 10euro HEAD! NO COMMENT !
-arrived Superga I am going to take the race pack, a bag with a Gatorade a Zup - Zup (the Sprite of discount), a water bottle, a "carrier" and a cd advertising fiat 500. And here is the donkey that falls magically !!!!! also race packs are over and to pick up the Gatorade I should introduce myself this week to their home (so people do not live near work, and above all cost me more ... petrol go buy a plateau at the supermarket .. not to mention the rush hour traffic of Turin).
-then I try to console me with a good meal and a nice plate of spaghetti (worth € 5 for families who have not competed, and still want a bite to eat with us athletes). After 20 minutes of what we can have in our style tray table with 2spaghetti number: Jura, 2 forks badly counted: the same amount that I eat at my house to see when the dough is ready, a slice of ham 2 cmx 2cm and a stamp with cheese . Say no to come home at midnight I had to make dinner.
21:50 hours-we end up "to fill your belly and begin to go down and bring us to dentera because they have not been scheduled shuttles to bring down athletes. Dentera has come to 22.30.
Again I want to open a small parenthesis, an organizer of the race would have to agree with GTT and organize climbs and descents at least every fifteen minutes instead of every hour, it is easy intuibire that we were all to get to families with below (other paying € 5 a ticket) to take the only possible shuttle (ie, that of 22.30). A casino and inside the gates to the crazy dentera .
