Stage Ivb Pancreatic Cancer Life Expectancy

Zoom Eyepiece 7-21 TS

I'm not an expert in some reviews, but still I try to write at least a first impression on this to zoom eyepiece Telescope-Service I have recently received ! Is not sold in a box, but in a cylinder, with screw-cap, the first thing I noticed was discarded after the "heaviness" and "robustness" of the eyepiece, which I then felt almost immediately, even if the weather is not serious test! Just added in my Celestron focuser I tried to focus on a road sign, the movements are fluid and the zoom is easy to adjust.
the maximum usable focal zoom TS, the image is good, contrast and sharp, like the Celestron Plossl in my possession.
A strange thing I noticed is that unlike the other eye in my possession, if you get too close to the eye lens (almost tacked on, as is my habit to do during the observation) can be seen shading surface, which disappear if you look a short distance into the eye (vision in this case is not the slightest preguidicata, so do not consider it a problem). The resulting image has not changed in any case evident at the edges (at least in this first test). Decreasing the focal length of the zoom magnification and thereby increasing the contrast, the image loses its brightness, not very clear to 12/10mm. The only negative is the field of view, very tight, even compared to a 25mm Plossl 52 °. The last known good to do eyepiece TS, is that it is almost parfocal, movements to do with the fact focuser are very mild. Finally, a good eye, rather than optically decent, comfortable to use but with a narrower field of view ... but taking into account the price, I believe we can satisfy : D

Astronomy polluted skies

E 'possible to make observations of deep sky from a site with moderate light pollution?
What can be observed from a location like this?
These are the questions that I often did, and like me, many others.
Then I discovered with the help of a fellow amateur astronomer this file, which is actually an article in Sky & Telescope "which is precisely to" ASTRONOMY URBANA ", then judge for yourself what can be achieved in these cases!

Barlow Meade 5000 series Telextender

I am also here today to introduce my new Barlow:
Meade Series 5000 2x Ultra Telextender
I arrived this morning! I purchased this model because reading the reviews, or more generally what is being said around me
seemed a good model, judge for yourself:

"The brand new 5000 Series TeleXtenders are considered the best among the currently teleconverters on the market. Thanks to 4-unit building, they have a visual field plan, and provide maximum resolution across the visual field that is at the center to the sides. Their performance surpasses even that of the 2x apochromatic Barlow lenses. The multi-layer Lens makes them free of any chromatic aberration. They are ideal for short focal length refractor with ep
er observation of planetary details.

- Field of View Flat
- Optical Premium Work and treated individually allow maximum light transmission and a high resolution and higher contrast
- The sides of the lens and the metal parts are blackened to maximize the contrast
- Despite the proliferation of 'magnification can maintain an excellent
black eye relief, even if used with eyepieces with longer focal lengths. "

The impression just opened the box (well done, too), was" solid " and good construction, in fact the least touch barlow looks solid and well built, I expect the smaller, but I was just surprised by his "tonnage." Now I'm waiting just a good time to go try it on the field, then will update the 'article with the visual impression of the bar low!
UPDATE:
Tonight I did the test on the field of barlow Meade, (unfortunately too high because the moon on the horizon and the presence of clouds, the test was short) and I must say that I was fully satisfied! In fact, even with a 25mm focal length eyepiece magnification of the difference is obvious compared to observation without barlow; past to an eyepiece of 10mm focal length the greater surprise was, in fact I noticed that even if the image was significantly larger (I could easily see even those small "mountains" in the center of the craters, which only dreamed of without the use of barlow) compared to observation without barlow, the quality is not totally changed! The contrast is sharp, and the image has no aberrations of any kind, even when I used the eyepiece 9mm focal length, thus arriving at well-222x (my telescope is a 114 opening ...) in an evening with just seeing a suboptimal judgments ... You!

What Are Some Cute Quotes?

A great mobile planetarium Astronomers

few days ago I decided to take the endless search for a global mobile software that was compatible with my PDA (BlackBerry) and now my search finally ended! After several attempts and after trying various software that did not fit because they had a limited compatibility with various mobile devices, I found a good planetarium, quite customizable, and compatible with most devices that support Java applications. This is Mobile StarChart:

http:/
/ mobilestarchart.sourceforge.net

The program, once downloaded and installed (you have to pay attention only to the version of your device - MIDP 1 or 2) shows a white screen where you can start the sky map or customize the software with the inclusion of coordinates geographical and various display options for the map (magnetudine limit lines of the constellations, planets and more).
The sky map also shows intuitive controls, like zoom and increased magnetudine limit that are controlled using the numeric keypad. Also interesting is the search for objects (Messier, constellations, planets) which can be accessed via the menu on the map. It also emphasizes the ability to update and add additional catalogs. Of course, the view is not the best, but the utility of having a planetarium at hand when we look at night, overcome all the difficulties!
could well replace the PC or custom star charts with this handy program to be put directly on our PDA / phone.
