I'm not an expert in some reviews, but still I try to write at least a first impression on this to zoom eyepiece Telescope-Service I have recently received ! Is not sold in a box, but in a cylinder, with screw-cap, the first thing I noticed was discarded after the "heaviness" and "robustness" of the eyepiece, which I then felt almost immediately, even if the weather is not serious test! Just added in my Celestron focuser I tried to focus on a road sign, the movements are fluid and the zoom is easy to adjust.
A strange thing I noticed is that unlike the other eye in my possession, if you get too close to the eye lens (almost tacked on, as is my habit to do during the observation) can be seen shading surface, which disappear if you look a short distance into the eye (vision in this case is not the slightest preguidicata, so do not consider it a problem). The resulting image has not changed in any case evident at the edges (at least in this first test). Decreasing the focal length of the zoom magnification and thereby increasing the contrast, the image loses its brightness, not very clear to 12/10mm. The only negative is the field of view, very tight, even compared to a 25mm Plossl 52 °. The last known good to do eyepiece TS, is that it is almost parfocal, movements to do with the fact focuser are very mild. Finally, a good eye, rather than optically decent, comfortable to use but with a narrower field of view ... but taking into account the price, I believe we can satisfy : D
