High Chair Tray Cover Disposable

Lumicon OIII

After the incessant rain that hit my area at this time, I finally managed to try my new nebular filter Lumicon OIII, arrived on time as usual, directly from Germany.
I must point out that this filter was chosen because of generous enough bandwidth for the latter, unlike other filters that require the use of instruments much larger than I used to be a profit .. .
then I must congratulate the company for the care with which the filter is packed, first of all is placed in a cardboard box with golden side of a print that says "Lumicon OIII" open this box, the filter is presented in usual pack plastic, closed in turn in a small sealed plastic bag too. As you can see from the photos, a further applauded the Lumicon be done, because this is the only filter that I've seen that in the back of the pack shows individual values \u200b\u200bof bandwidth, measured individually filter to filter.
But let us ... because bad weather, I tested the filter on only a few items, but enough to give me a positive first impression.
It 's the usual round of the M42. Bet with the only telescope, already gave a good impression, thanks to a good seeing, by mounting the filter uhc-s, however, the vision improved, visible M43 ... but you already knew this.
The surprise was the view of M42 with the Lumicon OIII filter, I did not expect a wealth of details; m42 on it in addition to increasing the details precisely, the nebula appears to be more detached from the background sky now much darker, but not only, with my amazement are visible the "wings" of the nebula distinct and defined, which personally I never have seen.
only flaw in this test is that M43 will disappear forever.
Another test was performed on M78, a reflection nebula, in order to obtain an opinion on a small object and evanescent.
sharp object visible to the telescope only averted vision, a vision that improves with the UHC-s filter, making the visible nebula, which disappears of everything to do with the use of the Lumicon OIII filter.
The third and final test of the evening was performed on a subject that I plan to look for personal interest, this is the Eskimo Nebula, a planetary nebula that gave me a hard time because at first sight, using an eyepiece low ingrandimeti looks like a star, difficult to identify this. Here came to my rescue the OIII filter, using the latter in fact many faint stars have disappeared, while the nebula was already framed (though not distinguished) stood out immediately evident, having a halo around her blue
that made me immediately realize he had hit the target. In this If the filter is not uhc-s served its purpose, making me understand why the OIII in practice is more appropriate to planetary nebulae.
As a conclusion I can say that I am fully satisfied with the new purchase, even if I use it with a 150/750 that is not the best, it gave me satisfaction, revealing details that I had never before seen, or how you could read, helping to identify objects that would otherwise noted fatigue.
