How Soon C A N Remove My Earrings

case eyepeace

One of the primary problems of an amateur astronomer, is born from the fact that you never know how to fix
safely Kit precious and expensive eyepieces that everyone has provided and the equipment that makes up virtually every observer. Many
buy a cheap aluminum case from various DIY stores, but in my opinion, this solution does not represent the ultimate in safety, although in many cases, the case will not be exaggerated movements
and shock, then we are content anyway. But I ..... having serious problems finding the towel needed to build the padding that doubles as a space for the eye, well I decided to solve the perennial problem with four planks of wood bought at a DIY with very little cost (about ten euro ... a little bit less) and some nail.
I chose to do my own wooden case, because once you have finished all my
eyepieces and accessories will be placed in secure, given the thickness of the planks of wood.

The external size of the litter box is 32cm X 26cm X 16cm and thickness
wooden planks used is 1.5 cm.

After cutting the pieces for good and after verifying that the assembly happening regularly, I treated the wood with a paint sealer that
as suggested by the word is used to eliminate the porosity of the wood and make the surface smooth
to the touch. To unite all sides of the litter box I used a flat head nails, which are virtually invisible to the sight (and feel) that I had already seen at home and I did not want to go out and buy the appropriate screws and once connected all sides, I sealed it all with the glue on both sides
ii (outside / inside) of the litter box to eliminate any small openings that can be created during the cutting of the pieces.

For the closure I used as usual, a simple latch that I had at home and two hinges that ensure the movement of a coverage of the "cover" more, and to facilitate the transport of the cassette I used two small handles in satin and polished iron (like the rest of the scrap metal used in the project).
We are now inside the box, which as you can see from the photos was created by cutting and pasting plywood from 1cm thick, and from which I made with meticulous cutting / grinding: D housings g
them eye and the right side, the space for the filters.
As you can see is not yet fully completed, it still lacks
painting will realize that soon a brownish color similar to that of wood
we see every day for the mobile home.
