Two days ago, just finished my first autocostruzion 
and new Dobsonian mount, We decided with a friend, taking a project to create another one seen on the net (as low as references!) that had to be more functional, less cluttered and basic, without too much slamming. In fact, at least so it seems from the preview! The two bases are connected by a washer with their nut, and movement is guaranteed three pads attached table on the bottom, as you can see the top of the rocker box there are two square pieces (four counting the ones on the other side) that will covered the top with some strips of felt.
While the exterior of two sides of the support for the telescope, there are two discontinuous, punched and attacked in this way to the wood, obtained by gluing together 8 CD, which will be used for the movement of the tube, going to put on the handles in Rockerbox. The heads of the screws used to puncture the cd will be covered with pieces of felt to make the right point sliding movement of the support. Among some time post the photos of the finished ...
